Jack Buckskin "Tater" is a 15.3hh, solid buckskin stallion. He is a a grandson of the AQHA/NCHA World Champion Mr San Peppy and a great grandson of the AQHA Champion Two Eyed Jack..
"Tater" was sired on the Wagon Wheel Ranch located in Lometa, Texas. Wagon Wheel Ranch is known for breeding good looking using horses with the walking stick brand on their left thigh. "Tater" has upheld that reputation in the seven years we have owned him.
"Tater" has amazing athletic ability despite his 15.3hh. This athleticism combined with his keen cow sense and desire to work make him the ideal ranch horse. We routinely use him for pasture work here on the ranch. We also compete on him locally in ranch rodeos and sortings. He is pasture bred to our mares each Spring and then runs with the ranch geldings the rest of the year.
"Tater " has sired five foal crops with a high percentage of buckskins, palominos, and roans. His foals have gentle dispositions, correct conformation and athletic ability. They break out gentle and have the ability to get the job done in or out of the arena. Their speed and action will take you to the pay window.
